There is a nasty smell coming from the village pond, and the Mayor of Willowford has decided something must be done. The pond must be drained and cleaned, but in the meantime what is to happen to Mother Mallard and Mother Tufted Duck and their broods of ducklings?
This is an environmentally valid story of two families of ducks, mallard and tufted. They set off to find a new home and have many amusing encounters on their way.
